Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Overview

The First Class Plumbing Care Plan (“Membership”) is offered by AP Construction INC DBA First Chicago Plumbing (“Company”). By enrolling in the Membership, you (“Member”) agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  • The Membership is available for residential customers only. Commercial properties are not eligible at this time.

2. Membership Benefits

Members are entitled to the following benefits:

  1. 10% Discount on Labor (Up to $500 per Service): Applies to labor costs only.
  2. Priority Scheduling & No Emergency Fees: Urgent repairs receive scheduling priority. Maintenance or non-urgent repairs (e.g., fixture updates) will be scheduled after emergency appointments. Members are first in line for emergency and non-emergency appointments.
  3. Free Yearly Multi-Point Plumbing Home Inspection: Includes inspection of sinks, drains, disposals, toilets, and exposed water lines. Inspection of pumps or other equipment is available at an additional cost.
  4. Free Yearly Sewer Scope with Camera: Must be performed from a clean-out. If no clean-out is available, additional charges may apply.
  5. Free Yearly Water Heater Tune-Up: Includes inspection of key components, verification of operability, and flushing of the unit. The unit must be under 8 years old and have a working valve. Tankless and commercial units are excluded but may be serviced at an additional cost.
  6. Extended Warranty: 3-year labor warranty on fixtures, water lines, and drains installed by the Company. Warranty covers workmanship only. Equipment-related issues are the manufacturer’s responsibility, including labor costs for replacement.
    • 90-day warranty for rodded drains unless a pre-existing issue (e.g., collapsed pipe) is detected. Commercial drains are excluded.

Note: The Multi-Point Home Plumbing Inspection, Sewer Camera Scoping, and Water Heater Tune-Up must be performed during a single scheduled visit. These services cannot be split into separate appointments.

3. Membership Fees and Billing

  • Membership costs $24.95 per month.
  • A minimum 12-month commitment is required. After the initial 12 months, the Membership renews on a month-to-month basis and can be canceled at any time.
  • Membership is billed monthly to a credit card on file and renews automatically.
  • Members must notify the Company immediately of any changes to billing details, including billing address, card information, or account name.
  • Membership benefits will be suspended if a payment fails until the outstanding balance is paid.
  • Membership fees are non-refundable.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation before the completion of the first 12 months will require repayment of any savings received under the Membership, as well as payment of the remaining balance for the year.
  • After 12 months, Membership can be canceled at any time without additional fees.
  • The Company reserves the right to cancel Membership at any time due to non-payment or misuse of benefits.

5. Scheduling and Availability

  • It is the Member’s responsibility to schedule the yearly maintenance services (home inspection, water heater tune-up, and sewer scope). While the Company sends reminders, the Member must reach out to schedule these services.
  • Maintenance appointments are subject to technician availability and weather conditions.

6. Membership Coverage and Transfers

  • Membership is valid for a single location only.
  • Membership may be transferred to a new address if within the Company’s service area.
  • Membership is non-transferable between individuals.

7. Service Limitations and Exclusions

  • Extended warranty covers labor only; equipment failures must be addressed through the manufacturer.
  • If sewer scope requires additional work beyond a clean-out, extra charges apply.
  • Commercial properties are not eligible for rodding job warranties.

8. Price Changes and Notifications

  • The Company reserves the right to adjust Membership pricing. Members will be notified at least 60 days in advance of any price changes.

9. Legal Compliance

  • Membership is subject to all applicable Illinois state and City of Chicago laws and regulations.
  • The Company reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions as necessary to remain compliant with legal and operational requirements.
